27 Oct FASHION STUDENTS ATTEND PRIVATE BROOKLYN BECKHAM EVENT
On Thursday 6 July 2017, some of GCU London’s fashion students attended a private event at the flagship Polo Ralph Lauren store on Regent Street, to celebrate Brooklyn Beckham’s new book.
Brooklyn Beckham is releasing his first book this summer – a collection of photography, called ‘What I See.’
Fashion students were invited along to the event at Ralph Lauren to celebrate the book with Food and Drink from Ralph’s Coffee and Bar, a DJ and a chance to meet Brooklyn Beckham.
Mai Atteya, a MSc International Fashion Marketing student, said “We had a chat with Chloe, one of the event organisers, which was very insightful and we learned a lot about the impact of celebrity sponsorships on brand image and how it’s being translated into sales gains!”
Another MSc International Fashion Marketing student, Phattaranan “Stella” Ruamchai, said “The event was really good. The highlight was a photo taken with Brooklyn Beckham, it was up close and personal and the people attending the event were very friendly.”
Fashion Business Creation student, Martha Rodgriguez, also had a great evening “It was pretty amazing. To be honest, I have this huge crush on David Beckham! But fate did bring me to his son which was even better!
“I congratulated him on his book and asked what he wants to do next.
“Brooklyn Beckham replied, ‘to continue doing and sharing my creativity to the world. For me, self-expression is the most inspiring reason to live.’
“It was pretty amazing. Thank you GCU London for the invite!”
